"I got Diego in 2010 as my 14th birthday present, he was a ~12-year-old grade Quarter Horse. I called him my Swiss Army knife, as he was a true jack of all trades and competed in gymkhana, barrel racing, western pleasure, English pleasure, and fox hunting. He was even used as a competition horse for my college IHSA team. He took me to multiple state championships in 4H and WSCA (Minnesota Western Saddle Clubs Association), as well as being my best companion through graduations (high school, undergrad, and veterinary school), my engagement, my wedding, and moving to our forever farm, where he spent his last years living the best retirement life and wandering the yard grazing."
